Chalki, Symi and Kastellorizo, three lesser known islands in Greece’s Dodecanese, are new destinations for Star Clippers for summer 2021, as is the picture postcard port of Fethiye in Turkey, known for its azure waters, golden sands, sea-front bazaars and forested mountains.
The four new port calls have been revealed in Star Clippers’ new Summer 2021 Preview Brochure and are included in Royal Clipper’s roundtrip sailings from Athens on two sailings in July 2021.
For the remainder of the summer Royal Clipper will sail Italy’s islands and coastline, visiting Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Corsica, as well as beaches and harbours along the Cote d’Azur.
More Greek and Turkish itineraries can be booked for sailings on board Star Flyer, which will be located in the Eastern Mediterranean for the duration of summer 2021.
The third vessel in the fleet, Star Clipper, will remain in South East Asia, making a myriad of port calls in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia and Borneo, visiting isolated paradise beaches, calling into ports and harbours inaccessible by larger cruise ships and dropping anchor to allow guests to explore temples, markets, forests and idyllic islands.
Both Star Flyer and Royal Clipper will also make transatlantic crossings to relocate between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, in April and October 2021, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy complete tranquillity mid-ocean, with spectacular unpolluted night skies, a variety of on board activities, lectures and presentations, and the invigorating experience of sailing on historically recreated, majestic tall ships.
The new sailing programme includes up to 20% saving off all bookings made by 31st January 2021, with prices starting from £742 pp (Croatia & Slovenia, 3 nights aboard Royal Clipper, 9th June 2021) and features sailings from 3 nights to 14 nights duration, with an additional 5% saving for back-to-back cruises and return guests.
