Star FlyerStar Clippers is pleased to announce the launch of their latest tall ship cruise brochure, featuring sailings from March 2022 through March 2024.

This latest brochure contains exciting new adventures as well as many favorite authentic sailing itineraries. Star Clippers fleet of three tall ships sail year round, with itineraries in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Central America as well as Atlantic Ocean crossings. The brochure is available digitally online now and will be available in print this summer.

Guests booking by May 15, 2022 will receive 10% off the cruise fare, an onboard credit of $100, complimentary pre-paid gratuities, and a lovely bottle of champagne waiting for them in their cabin. Offer is valid for residents of North, Central and South America only.

The 2022 and 2023 seasons offer some exciting changes to sailing itineraries. The line’s namesake, Star Clipper, which has been sailing in Southeast Asia, will join her sisters in the Mediterranean in April 2022, marking the first time in five years that all three ships will sail together in this beautiful part of the world. This will allow the company to be able to host even more guests on new itineraries such as Yachtsman’s Paradise and Delightful Dervishes — seven-night sailings between Istanbul and Athens – and some of their most popular itineraries including Sporades Highlights cruise, visiting locations from the original Mamma Mia movie.

And, for the first time in eight years, Star Clippers will be calling on ports in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panama and its famed canal, starting November 2022. Seven-day sailings round trip out of Puntarenas call on favorite Costa Rican towns as well as ports in Panama or Nicaragua, depending on itinerary. These new sailings take guests to tranquil beaches on idyllic Isla Tortuga, Costa Rica and “deserted islands” such as Isla San Jose in the Pearl Islands. Nature lovers will adore the port town of Quepos, Costa Rica, located near the magnificent Manuel Antonio National Park, where they can encounter monkeys, sloths, and nearly 450 species of birds that call the park home.

Racing fans will be thrilled to learn that once again, Royal Clipper will offer the popular Grand Prix and St. Tropez Regatta sailings starting this year. A pair of itineraries in May puts guests in Monaco for the world-famous Grand Prix races, and in the fall, a round trip sailing out of Cannes takes guests to St. Tropez for the famed regatta.

The Caribbean also has its share of special itineraries as Royal Clipper calls on Martinique during their Mardi Gras festivities, allowing guests to experience the magic of this island’s French-meets-Caribbean culture. And sailing fans will sure to be enticed with the Super Yacht itineraries on Star Flyer, which put guests in St. Bart during the popular Bucket Regatta.

Star Clippers’ special Grand Voyage itineraries are created to allow guests to experience an extended journey through the Eastern and Western Mediterranean and are now available on all three of the clipper ships. These 12- to 19-night sailings have no more than three days at sea during any trip, allowing more time for exploring the small towns and UNESCO heritage sites, sampling the local cuisine, and getting a glimpse of life as a local.

A guest favorite, the 12-night Cannes to Lisbon itinerary on Royal Clipper, spans the Western Mediterranean and visits two continents, with ports of call in France, Italy, Spain, Morocco and Portugal. Guests can search for the perfect pasta dish in Sardinia, shop the colorful markets in Casablanca and sunbathe in Ibiza, all during the same epic voyage.

Beginning in 2023, all three ships in the Star Clippers’ fleet will be making the transatlantic journey—great news for those who love this unique experience! In April 2022 and 2023, Royal Clipper will make the 16-night Eastbound crossing between Bridgetown, Barbados and Lisbon — and for those who want more, a 28-day option will sail all the way to Rome.

Also doing an Eastbound crossing is Star Clipper, departing April 2023 from St. John’s, Antigua for a 20-night sailing to Malaga, Spain. The just-as-amazing westbound sailings include a 24-night Malaga to St. Maarten adventure, a 28-night epic journey between Cannes, France and Barbados, and a 15-night sailing from the Canary Islands to St. Maarten.

For more than 25 years, Star Clippers has been introducing travelers to the thrill of modern tall ship sailing to remote ports in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore.

The company operates three of the world’s largest and tallest sailing vessels: Star Clipper and Star Flyer are traditional clipper ships with modern amenities carrying 170 guests, while the 227-guest Royal Clipper holds the Guinness World Record for being the largest and only five-masted, full-rigged sailing ship in service today. All three ships have expansive teak decks, swimming pools, informal dining, convivial tropical bars on deck and piano lounges.
